Client's Needs

Besco Water Treatment Inc. is a nearly 60-year-old Michigan-based company providing services to residential households as well as commercial enterprises. Due to the different sales targets of their B2C business and their B2B business, they developed a strategy to create two separate websites to generate sales leads online from both target groups. Detroit Website Design was chosen by Besco to create new websites for each division. As part of their online strategy, Besco management elected to sell some of their consumer products online and worked with Detroit Website Design to create a sophisticated shopping cart.  In 2021 they wanted to add more capabilities to their shopping cart, as well as refresh the look of their site.

Our Solution

As mentioned above with two distinct sales targets, Detroit Website Design recommended two separate websites to replace the current one website at www.bescowater.com. The strategy is to create sites that provide a wide range of information and educational content that will be informative to users and cause them to contact Besco Water. It was determined that the commercial site should speak the language of engineers, plant managers, and medical personnel who would need various types of purified water in large quantities. The retail site is aimed at the consumer who is buying equipment principally for their home as well as coffee, tea and bottled water for their home and office. Both sites are generating leads and new business at both divisions at Besco Water Treatment Inc.
